FILIERE LIN OLEAGINEUX

This initiative is focused on the reintroduction of the linseed industry in the south west and proposes the local production, by producers working in close proximity, of products made from flax fibre, a bio-based material, prepared and used locally.

 The delicate blue flower consumes very little water or plant protection products and is grown for its seeds (animal feed), and for the flax fibre which, once prepared, can be used to produce quality yarn which is 100% local.
